The Dead Masters - Scarlett: The World We Own
You might find life in the Society as normal, but outside the thick, metal walls were not even a life form. Maybe one can find another place like the Society, but that would be far, far away, and nobody was sure that one can slip through the frozen plains, the rampaging hailstorm and the chilling wind, before one reach another surviving place. Forget reaching there; surviving was deemed impossible.
This world had come to its end.

Demon: Others' Sins (Ch. 4)
The Dead Masters - Demon: Others' Sins
“You still blame me for that?”
The merciless cold of that winter night was chilling to the bone, even to the pedestrian with layers of clothes on. However, on the rooftop of the Fieldwork building, a skyscraper of three hundred floors, the black-winged man stood, his upper body bare. The snow was falling, almost like a blizzard, but not even one drop of snowflake could touch his pale white skin.
“It’s not about who is at fault. Everything had happened, and I will follow your ‘game’, for that is the only solution. But don’t get so high and mighty; the stronger between us is yet to be decided.”

Being Thankful
Big Fishes' Carnival at The Lake - Being Thankful
"When was the last time I stop to see the leaves falling gently to the soft ground?" I asked myself.
Suddenly walking alone among the trees and the rays of setting sun felt soothing. As the wind carefully caressed my cheeks and the birds continues to sing the tune of joy, I sighed and continued my journey. Never before had nature erased my suffering, for I had never let her do so. Now the smell of the grass healed my wounded heart like nothing I could ever imagine. For that, I was thankful.

Durge: After Death (Ch.3)
The Dead Masters - Durge: After Death
He was home.
Durge groped the darkness
surrounding him, only to find little sunlight passing through the thin curtain
of his room. His head aches as he tried to lift himself up from his slumber.
Little did he remember about his nightmare, one of the worst nightmare that
left his limbs tremble in fear for a moment. He truly hoped that it was a dream,
a nightmare that he didn’t need to remember anymore. Sadly, it wasn’t.

Julius: Her (Ch.2)
The Dead Masters - Julius: Her
Julius Arc leaned the
golden-framed window, putting both his hand on his pocket as he watched the
moon and the stars moving slowly but steadily. He did this everyday, for only
the beauty of the stars and the moon could pique his curiosity. If he looked
away, the grand bedroom as spacious as one performance hall was what awaits
him. Everything was shiny, everything was gold. It’s not that he hated it.
Durge: Victims (Ch. 1)
The Dead Masters - Durge: Victims
Truth was something Durge
Eltiorra would never understand. As far as he could remember, he was always
told to be a good student, a good friend, a good son. Thus, he always became
one. However, the more he forced against his nature in order to fulfil these
‘duties’, the more he longed for the truth. He held himself from his true
nature for eighteen years, and there was no truth left in him, and if there
was, he could never find it.
Project: The Dead Masters
"Contrariwise, if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic." - Lewis Carroll
Logic is often present as a basis used by many for decision-making. More often than not, people requires clear advantage in order for them to believe in something. This logic is usually a form of information gathering and evaluation to come up with the best solution available. However, it was not 100% logic that all people in the world use to make decision; there is the abstract existence of feeling.
Why is logic described here? It is to make sure that you have logic in mind, to determine whether to continue reading or not. This is because you need to know logic to know what is logical and what is not: The Dead Masters surely consist of illogical decisions and vague interpretations. This project has been going on for quite a long while, and the whole concept is pretty much materialized. It is just a matter of time before everything flows into the main plot.
The Dead Masters has a vague target of audience: the indescribable demonic power makes it unsuitable for adults looking for serious readings, but its baseless logic makes it incomprehensible for many teenagers. Perhaps most people will come across it and find it simply weird. Much of it is simply illogical, but no one is to deny that the end of the world can be pictured in the project.
By logic, the direct conclusion is not to read. However, isn't there something else in you that allures you to continue exploring just how insanity can be pictured in a literary piece? Maybe another perspective can bring you closer not to what you really want, but what you really need.
